Some distance to still go to Marla and a mass of water was building on the western side of the road. Heavy rain drops were still falling and the danger of aqua-planing off the road kept driving speed to a frustrating pace. Parts of the road were already disappearing under water and there was little time to spare for stopping and taking photos. We'd been awake all night and getting rather wet inside the car too (from condensation and rain). Very, very uncomfortable feelings. And ominously no other traffic to be seen all day and night.
