SW view from Kangaroo Ground looking toward Melb. City, 30km NE of Melbourne. About 1-2 AM 03/12/2003. Rapid pulsing of intracloud lightning. The near absence of visible Cloud to Ground lightning was noticable. Most of internal cloud lightning was not directly seen but lit the sky almost continually with many flashes per second.
