Weather.

Weather on the day, 1/2/02 - Mid 30s, very humid with late thunderstorms. High temperatures and humidity on previous days.

From a Bureau of Meteorology media release :

Melbourne recorded 6 thunderstorm days for February 2002 - the highest number on record. It was also the coolest summer since 1995/96. The temperature did not reach 100 degrees F. this summer. Rainfall was above normal for summer.

This was the fifth year of a drought period with yearly rainfall totals well below normal.


	Camera Type and Film used : 35mm Nikon with 35 - 105mm Nikkor short zoom set at about 50mm. Fuji Velvia 50 ASA transparency. Scanning : On Linotype - Hell drum scanner.
